About this file
This is a Statement of Work for an audio-visual systems installation and support services project at NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center in Edwards, California. The work requires delivery by October 1, 2026, and consists of hardware installation and five-year support services.
The hardware component specifies a comprehensive AV over IP system supporting minimum eight 4K 60Hz video inputs and outputs with full routability through the switching infrastructure. Key equipment includes one Crestron CP4N 4-Series Control System, one DM NVX Director network AV switching appliance, sixteen DM-NVX-360 encoder/decoders, eight DM-NVX-360C encoder/decoder cards, two 10.1-inch touch screen panels (1070 series) for the audio console and presenter desk, four Blackmagic Design micro converters for SDI/HDMI conversion, two active USB-C to HDMI converter cables, one 40-port Netgear managed AV switch with PoE+, and one allowance for miscellaneous installation materials and hardware. The system must provide three transmitters and three receivers to create 5760 x 1080 mosaic resolution for dais displays, accommodate multiple input source types (PCs, Apple computers, cameras, SDI sources, and Barco ClickShare), integrate control of existing drapes and three room lighting zones, and integrate a new camera lift system using RS-232 communication. Three encoder/decoder units must be provided as spares.
The services component includes five years of annual support hours in 40-hour increments covering remote troubleshooting, onsite service calls, programming modifications, system diagnostics, and end-user operational assistance. Remote support operates Monday-Friday, 5 a.m. to 4 p.m., with a designated technical support point of contact. Included annual support hours are deducted based on actual labor utilized and do not carry forward, rollover, or retain cash value upon agreement conclusion.
