About this file
This is a Statement of Work for the repair and calibration of a Pressure Breathing for Gravitational (PBG) Tester used by NASA's Armstrong Flight Research Center (AFRC) in Edwards, California to support life support testing for F-18 aircraft oxygen regulators.
The contractor, identified as Eaton (Mission Systems Davenport), is the sole designer and manufacturer of the PBG system and must perform all repairs, calibrations, and overhauls due to proprietary design and technical data ownership. The scope of work requires Eaton to conduct a full diagnostic evaluation of the PBG unit and accessories, perform all necessary repairs using OEM parts and proprietary procedures, calibrate the system and subcomponents using OEM technical publications, perform functional testing to validate leak rates and pressure profiles, provide calibration certification traceable to Eaton-approved standards, ensure compliance with applicable Air Force Technical Orders (T.O. 33D2-10-67-2, T.O. 33D2-10-136-2), and return equipment in ready-for-use condition with proper packaging for safe transport. Deliverables include inspection results and diagnostic reports, calibration certificates, repair summary documentation, verification and functional test results, proper packaging and shipment back to AFRC, and all required documentation demonstrating equipment acceptance and work completion. The period of performance is 12 months from the award date to accommodate repair cycles, calibration lead time, shipping, and administrative requirements. Travel is not applicable to this contract. Special requirements and considerations will be determined individually for each piece of equipment.
