About this file

This is a Specification Sheet/Statement of Work for the procurement of aviation communication equipment by NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center. The requirement is for the purchase of 5 units of SkyLink 7100 Aviation Kits (part number SL7100-SENSOR), each kit including a Dual Mode Data Gateway (SL10001), Sensor Systems Antenna (S67-1575-414), LTE Antenna (YCN001AA), 5' LMR240 Cable with TNCM to SMA Connectors (CXTG24K-5), and SkyLink Power Adapter (SL100-PWR). These are identified as mission-critical flight items currently in use on all three ground control stations for the Global Hawk aircraft platform, and no substitutes are acceptable due to the substantial redesign, testing, analysis, and re-wiring effort (estimated at 6+ months) that would be required for the aircraft interface.

The delivery location is NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center, Building 4876 Warehouse #6, Lilly Drive, Edwards, California 93524, with a required delivery date no later than June 1, 2026. The procurement specifies no SIM or GSM SIM requirement, but does require Q-DOC certification at the Q-1B level. No specific pricing terms, contract vehicle type, or response deadline are identified in this document.
