About this file

This Statement of Work (SOW) details the repair requirements for two HC-144 aircraft elevators (Left Hand and Right Hand) by ADSMA in Mobile, AL. The Coast Guard requires comprehensive repair and restoration of elevator components with part numbers 35-32000-0007 (LH) and 35-32001-0009 (RH) due to consistent corrosion and fatigue damage discovered during scheduled inspections.

Key repair requirements include a complete inspection, rib replacement per specific service bulletins, marinization protections, mid-life inspections, primer protections, and bonding jumper tests. ADSMA must provide a detailed proposal with cost breakdown, engineering estimates, completion timeline, and documentation of all repair work. The repair must follow AIRBUS CN-235 Aircraft Structural Repair Manual specifications, with all work documented via FAA 8130-3 or Certificate of Conformity (COC) and include Non-Destructive Inspection (NDI) deposition reports. The point of contact is CWO Lance Godfrey, and the work is to be completed at the ADSMA facility in Mobile, Alabama.
