About this file
This Statement of Work outlines NASA's requirement to procure 5 InstaTune lasers (part number FP4209-C1) to support their experimental Fiber Optic Sensing System (FOSS) for a Launch Service Provider's nanoFOSS project.
The technical specifications require the InstaTune lasers to have a center wavelength of 1550 nm with ±15pm absolute wavelength accuracy, a wavelength swept range of 40nm, and minimum output power of 5mW. Testing must be completed before shipping to NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center (AFRC). The procurement will be handled through NASA Shared Services Center as a sole-source contract to Freedom Photonics, LLC under NAICS code 541715, with responses due by March 6, 2025 at 4:00 PM CST.
