We have had some trouble with our RO System. It started when the Emergency Stop was pushed while running In Normal Mode. The PT109 stopped working and the Salinity Sensor Stopped Working. After Troubleshooting We found the PT109 was shorted NC. Once you took, one of the leads off, the Salinity Sensor came back and we received a Conductivity High Error. We cannot clear the error or run the RO in Manual Mode. We had a Gentleman (service Tech from Aqua-chem Inc.) came out and look at the Programming on the PLC, and made some changes so we could run it in Manual Mode. He made sure according to him made once we receive, the new PT109 We could resort back to the Normal mode. We successfully ran the RO in Manual for about 3-weeks without a hitch. Today we received the PT109 Sensor. We shut down the system. Installed the new PT109. Switch to Normal and booted up the RO. The attached picture you can see the Pressure is back for the PT109 but the Salinity Sensor went out! We are receiving some PLC errors (see attached) and a new weird error Alarm time Acknowledge Message (see attached).
Tried to revert to the Manual Mode, shut down the system, disconnect the PT109, switch to Manual and boot back up. Same thing happened from before. No Salinity sensor, same errors. Now we reverted to day one.RO is not working in either mode, Normal/Manual. We did get a copy of the program before changes were made and after changes were made to run in Manual. We do not have the Application software to download it back into the PLC.
Request the field service technician to return and re program the PLC
