About this file

This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for a federal contract opportunity. The SOW outlines the objective and requirements to source six (6) InstaTune lasers, part number FP4209-C1, to support an experimental build of a data acquisition system (DAS) for the Hypersonic Transport Project at NASA's Armstrong Flight Research Center (AFRC).

The key characteristics and specifications required for the InstaTune lasers include a center wavelength of 1550nm, absolute wavelength accuracy of +/- 15pm, a wavelength swept range of 40nm, and a minimum output power of 5mW. Testing of the lasers shall be conducted prior to shipping to NASA AFRC. The related federal contract opportunity is a sole source procurement under FAR Part 12 and 13 with FREEDOM PHOTONICS LLC as the identified sole provider of the required InstaTune lasers. Interested organizations may submit capabilities/qualifications in writing by 4:00 pm CST on 7/1/2024 to be considered for potential competition.
