About this file

This document outlines requirements for an aircraft tractor procurement to support NASA operations. The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) intends to sole source award a contract to TLD America Corporation for one TLD TMX-50-4 aircraft tractor to meet specifications. The tractor must have a diesel engine, power shift transmission, hydraulic braking and steering systems, tow hitches, and other features. It will be used to tow the X-59 aircraft at NASA's Armstrong Flight Research Center in Edwards, California. The delivery deadline is no more than 32 weeks from award. Other organizations have until January 31, 2024 to submit capabilities for consideration of full and open competition, though sole source award appears intended.
