Statement of Work
The purpose of this procurement is to continue using the computational fluid dynamics code CONVERGE to simulate Rotating Detonation Engine concepts. Published work by DOE researchers and internal studies by NASA indicates that the CONVERGE code can predict key aspects of Rotating Detonation Engine experiments. NASA projects in the Aeronautics Research Mission Directorate and Space Technology Mission Directorate have continuing work developing and optimizing Rotating Detonation Engine concepts for aeronautics and space propulsion applications.
The list of packages requiring support is:
1. CONVERGE Solver (Quantity 1)
2. CONVERGE Preprocessor (Quantity 1)
3. CONVERGE Postprocessor (Quantity 1)
As part of this support, the vendor shall:
1) Provide updates to the software specified above, including bug fixes, security, and capability enhancements as they become available.
2) Provide customer support for installation and operation of these packages.
3) Provide applications support to assist users in the use of the packages.
4) Provide license maintenance and issue new licenses as required for continued use of the subject software.
5) Provide on-line and telephone support.
6) Provide access to the vendor’s Technical Support Knowledge Base
7) Provide access to downloadable service packs and updates.
8) Provide on-line and/or download access to training materials and manuals
9) Provide these services over the period of one year from the time of license delivery for one CONVERGE Solver, Preprocessor and Postprocessor.
