About this file

This statement of work outlines requirements for a precision metal bending machine to replace aging equipment used in aircraft maintenance. The National Aeronautics and Space Administration Shared Services Center seeks delivery within 10 to 12 weeks of a manually operated draw or rotary die machine measuring approximately 144 inches long, 40 inches wide, and 40 inches tall and weighing around 900 pounds. The machine must be capable of bending aluminum, stainless steel, and titanium tubing from 1/2 to 1.5 inches in diameter. It will be installed at NASA's Armstrong Flight Research Center Building 4823. No contracts or additional period of performance are required beyond delivery of the machine matching the specifications provided.

The related federal contract opportunity is a special notice from NASA Shared Services Center seeking offers for the precision bending machine described in the statement of work to support metalworking of aircraft parts at the specified location.
