STATEMENT OF WORK FORMAT

Custom coated mirrors for optical testing; 24-Feb-2023

PR: _____________________

Note: Only use the sections that are applicable to your service procurement.

Background

A GSFC Earth science mission instrument development requires measuring the optical reflectance properties of coated mirrors in the 4-15 µm spectral range.

These optical elements are being assembles for our instrument breadboard design and will be tested to understand reflectance properties and will be part of the overall optical train to better understand the instruments transmission properties.

We need to procure 2 sets of mirror elements as the second set will be used for further testing of our instrument brassboard design. The research based on the 603 OPTX LLC. mirror samples will guide the development of future mission opportunities. Work done in the lab now will reduce risk for our instrument/mission proposal and work to address needed measurements described by the Earth Science decadal survey.

Scope

As per specifications, 603 OPTX LLC., shall deliver quantity 2 of six optical mirrors (Fold Mirror 1, Fold Mirror 2, Scan Mirror, TMA M1, TMA M2, and TMAM3), coated to provide >95% reflectance over 4-15 µm and will have NRE and fixturing cost.

Requirements

Optical quality of 6 different mirrors, coated to provide >95% reflectance over 4- 15 µm, – quantity two of each type.

Deliverables or Delivery Schedule
