1. Scope

The purpose of this Statement of Work is to outline the requirements for the delivery, installation, training, and operational testing of a bowling lane conditioning machine at FSS Lakehurst Bowling Center, in support of recreational and morale activities for Air Force personnel.

2. Background

The current lane conditioning equipment is outdated and no longer meets operational standards. A new state-of-the-art machine is required to ensure consistent lane maintenance, improve performance, and reduce manual labor. This acquisition supports squadron morale and welfare initiatives.

3. Requirements

3.1 Equipment Specifications

The contractor shall provide one (1) bowling lane conditioning machine that meets the following minimum specifications:

• Machine oils the bowling lanes and protects the lanes from ball damage.

• Machines provide at least 3 pre-programmed oil patterns and cleaning settings that can be changed at the touch of a button, keeping the gutters, customers and pinsetters clean. The machine operates quickly, cleaning and oiling a lane in about one minute.

• Machine can be pre-programmed with high-scoring programs and can condition lanes for various types of bowlers, including recreational, league and tournament players.

• Machine allows for single person maneuverability via wheels or other means of transportation.

• LCD touch screen with easy-to-read icons that show the status of all functions as the machine travels each lane. Integrated diagnostics and maintenance alerts.

Machine is designed with an onboard control panel with warning indicators to alert you of any occurring problems or Maintenance that is needed.

• Machine has the capability to be used on both synthetic and wood lanes to protect lane surface from damage.

• Manufacturer warranty: Machine comes with a 1-year Factory warranty.

3.2 Delivery

• Delivery shall occur within 30 calendar days of contract award.

• Equipment shall be shipped to: [489 Saniuk rd. Joint Base MDL NJ 08733]

3.3 Installation

• Contractor shall perform full installation of the machine.

• All necessary tools, parts, and labor shall be included.

• Installation shall be completed within 5 business days of delivery.

3.4 Training

• Contractor shall provide on-site training for up to (2) personnel.

• Training shall include:

o Machine operation o Routine maintenance o Troubleshooting procedures o Safety protocols

3.5 Testing and Acceptance

• Contractor shall conduct a full test run of cleaning and oiling functions.

• Government representatives will verify functionality and pattern accuracy.

• Final acceptance will be based on successful demonstration and checklist completion.

4. Performance Standards

• All work shall comply with applicable OSHA safety standards.

• Equipment shall meet industry standards for lane conditioning (e.g., USBC specifications).
