STATEMENT OF WORK

COMPREHENSIVE SERVICE CONTRACT FOR AUTOCLAVES

USNPRC SOUTHEAST POULTRY RESEARCH LAB

10/03/2023

GENERAL

SCOPE OF WORK. This contract is located at USNPRC SERPL 934 College Station Road Athens GA, 30605. The contractor will provide comprehensive service for all autoclaves on campus (see attached equipment list). This complete maintenance, and repair package service must include the following:

· Meet the original equipment manufacturers maintenance recommendations and safety standards.

· 4 annual inspections of each item on the equipment list

· Scheduled Maintenance Labor

· Scheduled Maintenance Part

· Scheduled Maintenance Travel

· Repair Labor

· Repair Parts

· Repair Travel

· 24-hour priority technical support

· Detailed documentation of service following each visit

The contractor must be able to fulfil the unscheduled service calls timeframe listed below:

Contractor must respond via phone/email/text to unscheduled service calls within 4 hours.

Contractor must respond on site to unscheduled service calls within 48 hours.

The contract should include 1 base plus 4 option years.

Previous work experience in a high containment facility will be required. The contractor will be required to adhere to the following biosafety requirements:

BIOSAFETY. Building 47 is a high containment facility that requires signing of a no avian contact form, changing into dedicated scrubs, specific Personal Protective Equipment (government provided), showering out of the facility, as well as training before entry is granted. Contractor will be escorted at all times within the program floor of facility. Equipment brought into program space will need to be surface decontaminated before removal with a disinfectant not detrimental to the equipment.

PHYSICAL SECURITY. Contractor will be required to follow all USDA physical security and safety rule/regulations.

HOURS OF OPERATION. Normal Hours. The USNPRC is open Monday through Friday from 8am until 4pm except for Government holidays.
