About this file
This notice of intent to sole source Diasorin test kits from the Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration Veterans Integrated Service Network 1 seeks Diasorin Simplex COVID-19 direct test kits and controls to be used on Diasorin 3m cyclers located across multiple VA medical centers in VISN 1. The statement of work requires delivery of 4 test kits weekly for 39 weeks to each of the 17 instruments located in Togus, Manchester, White River Junction, Boston and Connecticut facilities, totaling over 5,000 test kits, as well as periodic positive controls. Responses were due by November 24, 2020. As Diasorin is the sole source of test kits compatible with the proprietary Diasorin 3m cyclers, this represents a non-competitive sole source procurement to maintain COVID-19 testing capacity of over 30,000 tests per week across the VISN.
