CNC PLASMA CUTTING SYSTEM
STATEMENT OF WORK
This statement reflects those characteristics that are essential to the minimum needs of the Government for the purchase and delivery of one (1) fully assembled, turnkey CNC plasma cutting system, including but not limited to, CNC table, plasma cutter, computer, software, monitor, applicable accessories, and other required components. Machine cutting area to be no less than 5’x5’.
Purpose. The purpose of this purchase is to improve fabrication capabilities to produce precise metal parts in-house, reducing turnaround time, material waste, and reliance vendor availability. By integrating this turnkey system locally, maintenance personnel can rapidly prototype, fabricate, and replace critical metal components on demand.
Standard, Off the Shelf Components. All materials and parts comprising the system shall be new, of current design and manufacture, and shall not have been in prior service except as required for factory testing. Standard, off-the-shelf components with proven reliability shall be used wherever possible to increase performance reliability and reduce costs.
General Description of System. The following shall meet the minimum Government requirements for a Turnkey CNC plasma cutting system. Ability to cut metals including but not limited to mild steel, carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, brass, and copper. All shipping, crating, and rigging costs associated with the transport and delivery of the equipment specified herein. Complete documentation and organization of all technical data which applies to the operation, maintenance, repair and testing of the specific equipment. Installation of the specified equipment with the features identified in this specification, to include connection of the equipment to required available utilities. Work Not Included- The Government Receiving Activity will provide: Air, electrical and other utilities services as required for the proper operation of the equipment.
