About this file
This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for one-time repair services for a Chant Nose Wheel Steering (NWS) Test Cart (Part number 30787-01) owned by the Government and located at Fleet Readiness Center Southwest (FRCSW), Building 472, Naval Air Station North Island, San Diego, California. The period of performance is not to exceed 90 days from contract award.
The SOW is organized into six contract line items (CLINs). CLIN 0001 requires the contractor to evaluate the test cart within four weeks of award and identify issues including motor control failures (output motor displaying "tripped" status; input motor failing to power on) and pressure discrepancies (low-pressure mode reading 0 PSI while high-pressure mode functions at 4,500 PSI). The contractor must provide a firm fixed price quote within four weeks of completing the evaluation. CLIN 0002 covers repair work following Government approval, including supply of hardware with bill of materials (CDRL A001), minimum five-hour consecutive operation validation, new drawings if configuration changes occur (CDRL A002), and updated manuals if procedural changes result (CDRL A003). CLINs 0003 and 0004 cover operator and maintenance training for ten total Government employees (five operators and five maintenance personnel) at no more than eight hours daily for five workdays, using as-built drawings and provided manuals with printed training aids (CDRL A004). CLIN 0005 addresses shipping of all parts and materials via traceable means with clear identification of technical point of contact and contract number. CLIN 0006 covers all parts and materials with warranties matching commercial customer standards. CLIN 0007 is designated for over-and-above work requiring contractor notification via Field Service Report (CDRL A005) and Contracting Officer approval before proceeding. The contractor must provide all labor, tools, equipment, software, and materials; achieve CMMC Level 2 (Self) certification; work Monday through Friday during normal operating hours (0600-1430); complete security requirements including SECNAV Form 5512/1 and FRCSW Form 5512/5 at least ten business days before site visits; and maintain compliance with Arms Export Control Act restrictions on technical data dissemination.
