Compatibility (EMC)/Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) Environmental Qualification Testing (EQT) and overall ship hardening of HM&E systems. Code 333 relies on Objective Quality Evidence (OQE) as a basis for equipment qualification. One source of OQE is results of laboratory testing performed in accordance with governing standards.

These results shall be presented in the form of Test Reports. Additionally, non-qualification, non-standard lab testing research and development testing fall under NSWCPD Code 333’s purview to improve the quality and cost-effectiveness of ship hardening efforts.

1.2 SCOPE OF WORK

The purpose of this contract is to support NSWCPD Code 333 with the requisite EQT testing activities under its cognizance. It also includes non-standard, non-qualification tests relating to Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) of EQT methods and systems.

The Contractor shall support NSWCPD Code 333 in execution of laboratory testing, test procedure, test report and test fixture fabrication in contractor facilities in support of ship hardening efforts. It is anticipated that Code 33 will require fifty-seven (57) tests performed per year.
