STATEMENT OF WORK

for Purchase of Bulk C-4 9/3/2024 v2

1.0 PURPOSE

Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD) Detonation & Combustion Technology Branch (R33) requires the purchase of bulk Comp C-4. This material is needed to support on-going RDT&E testing at the NSWC IHD Detonation Science Facility and off-site test ranges at Fort Walker and Blossom Point.

2.0 APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS

NAVSEA OP-5 Ammunition and Explosives Safety Ashore 15 January 2013

3.0 REQUIREMENTS

During the course of execution of this scope of work, the contractor shall use NAVSEA OP-5 or equivalent as a guide for operations.

3.1. Bulk Comp C-4

· Deliver 50 boxes at quantity 60 pounds NEW per box (3000lbs NEW total)

4.0 DELIVERY

The Contractor shall deliver the required material within ninety (90) days of delivery order. All material shall be delivered FOB Destination to:

6.0 REPORTING

6.1 The contractor shall report immediately any major accident/incident (including fire) resulting in any one or more of the following: causing one or more fatalities or one or more disabling injuries; any incident involving government personnel or property; damage of government property exceeding $10,000; affecting program planning or production schedules; degrading the safety of equipment under contract, such that personal injury or property damage may be involved; identifying a potential hazard requiring corrective action. The contractor shall prepare the report in accordance with CDRL A001 (DI-SAFT-81563) for each incident.

6.2 The contractor shall supply a Certificate of Compliance for all shipments.
