STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW)

Repair of Bobcat Toolcat

FOR

28th Civil Engineer Squadron

3 DECEMBER 2020

SOW

28 CES Repair of Bobcat Toolcat

1. SCOPE OF WORK

1.1. Scope of work includes but not limited to repair and replacement of components required on the following vehicle;

- One (1) Bobcat Toolcat (Identification plate photo located in Appendix C)

1.2. The Contractor shall provide non-personal services including all management, supervision, personnel, tools, materials and other items and services necessary to obtain and repair (1) toolcat belonging to the 28th Civil Engineer Squadron. The required equipment identified within this SOW and Appendix A, list of required items, shall be obtained and installed in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications.

1.3. The contractor’s personnel shall be certified to perform all tasks required for the installation of all equipment.

2. DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT

2.1. The vehicle identified in the scope of work requires replacement parts and repairs. All equipment will be installed by a professional and will not hinder or prevent any OEM factory safety features of the vehicle from functioning.

2.2. See Appendix A for the list of required parts to be replaced on the vehicle.

2.3. Required repairs are as follows;

2.3.1. The following parts must be replaced, with all equipment provided by and installed by the contractor personnel;

a. Replace battery 60 (model 7312552), or equal, will be purchased and installed per manufacturer specifications.

b. Replace battery cables, NEG (model 6812900), or equal, will be purchased and installed per manufacturer specifications.

c. Replace battery cables, NEG (model 6812901), or equal, will be purchased and

d. Replace damaged 7 pin harness (model 7114292), or equal, will be purchased and

e. Replace faulty harness (model 7113370), or equal, will be purchased and installed per manufacturer specifications.

f. Replace faulty harness BF10 (model 6814830), or equal, will be purchased and

g. Replace speed sensor YYG09 (model 6684037), or equal, will be purchased and

3. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE/SCHEDULE OF WORK

3.1. The vehicle will be delivered and picked up by the government if the contractor’s place of performance is within 60 miles of Ellsworth AFB. If the contractor’s place of performance is located beyond the established 60 mile radius, the contractor shall be responsible for all costs and logistics associated with vehicle pick-up and delivery.

3.2. The contractor shall complete all requirements in their entirety within a 30 calendar day Period of Performance, which shall begin immediately upon notification of contract award.

4. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE

4.1. All required work will be completed at the contractor’s place of business.

5. ACCEPTANCE OF WORK

5.1. Acceptance of work will be completed for the vehicle upon turn-over from the contractor to the government.

5.2. Upon turn-over of the vehicle, the contractor shall submit any and all technical documentation, along with any and all manufacturer’s and installer’s warranty paperwork associated with the purchase and installation of the equipment.

6. WARRANTY

6.1. The warranty period for the vehicle will begin once the vehicle has been properly turned-over to, and accepted by, the government.

6.2. Installation warranty will remain in effect for one year from the date of repair.

6.3. Equipment warranty is covered individually by the manufacturer.

7. SECURITY REQUIREMENTS

7.1. Pandemic Response. All personnel present on Ellsworth AFB are required to follow any and all pandemic response policies established by the base leadership. Personal protective measures (face masks, gloves, hand sanitization, etc.) may be increased or decreased related to the current pandemic conditions on Ellsworth AFB. Contractors performing on Ellsworth AFB will follow the guidance provided by the local work center where contract performance will occur or other government representatives on the base. Contractors that refuse to comply with any and all pandemic response policies may be denied access to the installation which can result in corrective contract actions.
