• Cycling Capability: 4.500 cycles (80% DOD)

• Battery energy density 100÷120Wh/kg, 150-190Wh/lt

• Shelf life (> 20 years)

• Temperature Immunity (-40 ÷ +60°C)

• No gas emissions

• No flammable materials

• No fire/water flood reaction

• 100% recyclable

• NO pollution materials

• NO gas emissions

• Battery system must be 48 volts and 1200-amp hours of DC power

The Contractor shall Engineer, Inform, Furnish, and Install (EIFI) ethernet enabled remote monitoring capabilities for the batteries that are to be installed. Upon completion of engineering the solution for this requirement, informing the 377 MSG/SCXP of the details for the solution. Examples for details include but are not limited to: any hardware/software requirements, real-time information capabilities, maintenance requirements, recurring costs, training requirements, and network configuration/capability requirements. 2.2.2 Delivery and Transport Requirements

Building 498, location of installation, does not have space available for storage of the required materials should there be a gap of time between material delivery and installation. It is recommended that should there be a gap of time between material delivery and installation, the contractor make use of storage separate from the building to protect the materials and accumulate them in preparation of installation. Examples of this could be: utilization of building warehouse on base, leased storage container, off-base storage facility.

Building physical address:

Building 498 is not equipped with a loading dock for material delivery. It is recommended that the contractor take this into account due to the size and weight of the materials involved both for installation and removal. Vehicles such as a liftgate equipped box truck could be utilized for delivery of the materials to building 498. Such a vehicle could also be utilized by the contractor for the removal and disposal of existing materials such as the lead-acid battery strings and their shelves.

2.2.3 Grounding.

Contractor shall reuse existing grounding hardware to properly bond/ground battery modules.

Contractor will provide any hardware required to meet bonding/grounding standards.

2.2.4 Installation.
