About this file

This is a Statement of Work for the installation of electrical outlets at a U.S. Air Force facility. The project is titled "B457 Hanger 2&4 120v Outlet" with Work Task #5591313, dated 06 July 2026, and has a 30-day period of performance. The primary objective is to install two GFCI surface-mount duplex 120-volt outlets with switched control—one located on the vertical beam between Hangars 1&2 and one between Hangars 3&4, adjacent to the Liquid Cooling Cart reels. These outlets will enable Air Force and L3 personnel to operate and repair RC-135 mission systems within the hangar, reducing wasted labor hours and eliminating the need to tow aircraft for maintenance.

The scope of work requires the contractor to furnish all labor, services, tools, materials, and equipment necessary for complete installation and integration. The electrical installation includes approximately 640 linear feet of 1-1/4" conduit with #2 THHN wire and approximately 60 linear feet of 3/4" conduit with #10 THHN wire to connect the outlets to power. All work must comply with applicable codes including the International Building Code, National Electrical Code, AFI, UFC, UFGS, ASME, ASTM, ASHRAE, NFPA 72, and ISO 9001 quality management standards. Additional contractor responsibilities include obtaining all necessary security clearances and escort badges, environmental and life safety approvals, federal/state/local permits, site restoration within 10 workdays of completion, preparation of "as-built" drawings in AutoCAD .dwg format, provision of one-year workmanship and equipment warranties, and operations and maintenance manuals. The project is unit-funded with no special security clearances required beyond standard Air Force facility security protocols.
