About this file
This Statement of Work (SOW) details a project to replace underground storage tank (UST) monitoring components at a Missile Alert Facility (MAF) B01 located in Nebraska. The specific work includes removing and replacing the existing spill bucket, monitoring manway, and concrete pads for Tank 115 at F.E. Warren Air Force Base. The project requires installing a new double-walled five-gallon spill bucket with interstitial monitoring, new drop tubes with flapper closure, a Veeder-Root alarm, and new prob/sensor cards. The contractor must transition fill tubes from three-inch to four-inch diameter and replace all associated piping, conduit, and wiring.
The project has a 90-calendar day period of performance, with work to be conducted at MAF B01, which is 77 miles from F.E. Warren AFB. Key requirements include obtaining necessary permits, complying with security protocols, maintaining operational security, and following specific technical specifications for electrical, concrete, and earthwork components. The contractor must submit various documentation, including project schedules, material submittals, shop drawings, and post-construction red-line drawings. Strict safety, environmental compliance, and quality control standards must be followed throughout the project execution.
