About this file

This is a Statement of Work attachment detailing base access and security procedures for contractor employees working at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia. The document establishes mandatory compliance requirements for all contractor personnel requiring access to the installation, including adherence to access policies, security procedures, and Force Protection Condition (FPCON) directives established by the Department of Defense, the Host Air Force, and local installation authorities. Background checks will be conducted by local Security Forces, the Director of Emergency Services, or the local Security Office, and all personnel identity verification requirements must comply with DoD and HAF policy.

Access to the installation is facilitated through the Visitor Control Center (Building 5), which operates Monday through Friday from 0700 to 1630 hours, with after-hours passes available at the Main Gate. Contractors entering via commercial or construction vehicles must proceed through the Large Vehicle Inspection Site located at 2951 N Armistead Avenue, Hampton, Virginia. The document specifies acceptable forms of identification, including current driver's licenses, U.S. passports, military identification, birth certificates, and various government-issued credentials. Additional gate locations include LaSalle Gate (0600-2000 hours), Armistead Gate (24/7), and King Street Gate (0600-2000 hours). Passes are issued for periods of 1 to 30 days and must be returned upon expiration or when no longer required.
