Attachment 2 For Reference Only

The following work shall not include purchasing/installing wiring for telecommunication connections.

1. Repair two storage rooms, room 127B, and construct new closet.

a. In both North and South Storage rooms:

1. Infill vacant space between ceiling and wall with 1-hour fire rated compound (see Figure 1 & Figure 2). Relocate electrical conduit if required by code.

2. Remove and relocate Storage Room’s existing door assemblies (if feasible, maximizes space usage, and to code) otherwise, use new.

i. Door assembly in North Storage shall be installed between North Storage and 127B.

Door assembly in South Storage shall be installed between South Storage and 138.

3. Infill walls that door assemblies were removed from with a 1-hour fire rated wall. Walls shall be finished and painted to match existing, with rubber base.

4. Relocate light switches to be near door entrance as needed – repair wall to match existing – install 1-hour fire rated wall where applicable (if relocated switch was located on wall between storage room and stairwell)

b. Contractor shall relocate Room 127B’s door and window assembly to location indicated on Attachment.

Relocate light switch to be near door entrance as needed. Repair wall/floor to be flush with and match surrounding. Rubber base shall be added to match surrounding.

c. Contractor shall repair room 132 to construct new storage room

1. Remove door/window assembly and wall per Attachment 1. Build soffit where existing wall/door/window was to alleviate reconfiguring the ceiling tiles, finish to match surrounding.

Build new walls and install door assembly where indicated on Attachment 1 – walls shall be flush to existing walls, finished, and painted to match existing – with applicable base installed.

Carpet and rubber base shall be removed and replaced with tile that matches surrounding. Repair wall/floor to be flush with and match surrounding.

2. Light switches and sensor shall be removed – repair wall and ceiling to match surrounding.

Lighting shall be updated if required to provide adequate lighting for new storage space and install new light switch. Lighting shall be of the same type as rest of building for ease of maintenance.

3. Reroute HVAC supply/return ductwork and all associated components to room 132 – repair ceiling grid as needed.

2. Repair JAG Offices

a. Remove wall and door/window assembly separating room 137 and 139.

1. Remove receptacles, telecomm. jacks, light switch and associated components. Relocate thermostat and associated conduit/components. Relocate one telecomm jack and receptacle to north wall.

2. Build soffit where existing wall was to alleviate reconfiguring the ceiling tiles, finish/paint to match surrounding. Repair floor and walls to match surroundings.

3. Modify lighting scheme to control light fixtures from light switch located by room 137 entrance door.

b. Remove wall between rooms 138 and 140, and add new wall - enlarging room 140

1. New wall shall be placed in location that will equalize 138 and 140 room sizes.

2. Relocate existing receptacles and telecommunication outlets to new wall location.

3. Wall/floor/ceiling shall be repaired to match surrounding. Install rubber base to match existing.

4. Lighting shall be repaired to have adequately sized lighting in rooms 138 and 140. Lighting shall be of the same type used in building.

5. Room 138:

a. Relocate ceiling mounted intercom speaker if required.

6. Room 140:

a. Shall receive fire sprinkler evaluation to determine if additional coverage is required per code. If required, contractor shall install per code.

c. Room 141:

1. Remove wall between rooms 141 and 139. Add new walls – enlarging room 141 by building new wall 2’ into room 139. Repair wall/ceiling/floor to match surrounding. Finish and paint to match surrounding w/rubber base.

2. Shall receive fire sprinkler evaluation to determine if additional coverage is required per code. If required, contractor shall install per code.
