About this file
The document is a CBP Contractor Information Sheet for a short-term contractor visit to the U.S. Border Patrol Canine Academy in El Paso, TX. The sheet provides a template for collecting detailed personal information about visitors, including requirements for security clearance and escort protocols. Key administrative requirements include submitting visitor information 72 hours prior to arrival, mandatory check-in at the security desk, and a requirement that visitors must be constantly escorted, with one escort provided for every four visitors.
The associated federal contract opportunity is a Request for Quote (RFQ) for up to 3 dual-purpose detection canines for the Border Patrol K9 Center. The solicitation is 100% set aside for small businesses, with a NAICS code of 112990 and a size standard of $2.75M. Quotes are due by August 13, 2025, at 10:00 AM EST, with award evaluation conducted in three phases focusing on breed conformance, availability, open orders, past performance, and price. The government intends to make a single award using a best-value tradeoff method, with the top-ranked offeror required to deliver canines for medical, physical, and behavioral evaluation at the El Paso, TX location.
