SOW Attachment 1

Inspection, Care & Maintenance

Horizontal Lifelines

Frequency:

Visually inspect anchors and connectors before each use in accordance with manufacturer's instructions.

Damaged systems and components must be removed from service immediately.

In the event of a fall, the system must be removed from service, inspected, repaired and recertified for use by Evan Corporation.

Inspect system components for:

• Excessive corrosion, dents, cracks, fraying and deformities.

• Check end anchor fasteners and intermediate brackets (end anchors must be torqued at 75 ft.lbs. and intermediate brackets at 18 ft.lbs.).

• Check site label(s) making sure they are present, legible, and secured near an access location.

• Inspect User Equipment per associated manufacturer's instructions. Check connecting means for wear or deformities.

Rigid Rail - Enclosed Track and Wide Flange Beams

• Check site label(s) making sure they are present, legible, and secured near an access location.

• Inspect system prior to each use as per ANSI.

• Inspect User Equipment per associated manufacturer's instructions.

• Refer to the instructions supplied with the harness, lanyard and self-retracting lifeline for cleaning and servicing procedures. Store the harness, lanyard or self-retracting lifeline in a cool, dry clean environment and out of direct sunlight.

• In the event of a fall, the system must be removed from service until it is inspected and approved for us.e.
