About this file

This document is a Records Management Language attachment for a Statement of Work (SOW) related to a VA contract for HVAC system replacement. The SOW provides detailed guidelines for handling records, data, and information generated during contract execution, with specific emphasis on compliance with federal regulations including the Privacy Act, Freedom of Information Act, and federal records management policies.

Key provisions include mandatory contractor requirements such as treating all deliverables as U.S. Government property, obtaining prior written consent for document disposition, protecting sensitive information, and ensuring no unauthorized destruction or removal of records. The associated federal contract opportunity involves replacing the HVAC system in the laundry rooms at the VA Medical Center in Togus, Maine, with a tiered evaluation process that provides preference to Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs), followed by Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSBs), Women-Owned Small Businesses (WOSBs), other small businesses, and lastly large businesses.
