The SOW describes the requirement for the contractor to provide DOE a departmental-wide data license to access a suite of Argus Media's energy and commodity pricing data products, including Argus Crude, Tanker Freight, Eurasia Energy, and Russian Products Exports, along with light consulting/advisory services from Argus subject matter experts. The services must be made available to DOE subscribers at least 95% of the time, with all data and analysis accessible via Argus' web platform or Excel add-in. There are no pre-planned deliverables, but the contractor must provide usage statistics upon request. The contract will be a one-year base period with four one-year option periods.
The related federal contract opportunity is a Notice of Intent for a sole source award to Argus Media Inc. based on Argus' position as the leading price reporting agency with the most comprehensive oil, gas, and tanker freight data. Interested parties may submit capability statements by June 24, 2024, but the government has sole discretion to determine if a competitive procurement is warranted.
