Statement of Work AERVA/ Watchfire Licenses and Subscriptions

1.0 GENERAL

In order to reach all command employees whether in office or on the floor, Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD) public affairs office is able to reach those employees whose positions are not tied to a computer terminal; therefore, they do not get All Hands email notifications. Beginning in 2016, the command has used the AERVA/Watchfire content management software subscriptions to share relevant information via the digital displays around the command. At present, the command makes use of 26 displays and will be expanding in FY25 to a total of 36 units.

To continue this service, it is requested that licensing procured from Aerva, Inc. System and Service to facilitate the compatibility with the existing Aerva equipment and apparatus that is currently in use across the command by NSWC IHD Congressional & Public Affairs Office (Code 1031). These instruments and components have been identified by command personnel as desired communication tools that will be managed by Code 1031 personnel who are responsible for content management and release of information as per SECNAVINST 5720.44C. The procurement of this software licensing is vital in support to the 1031 mission not only for internal communication but also for crisis communication situations, such as active shooter.

With this renewal, we will continue to use the AERVA/Watchfire content management services to provide important command information to all employees.
