This purchase includes de-installation of existing equipment and procurement, delivery, assembly, installation, and inspection of new A-Dec dental equipment by an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) certified installer and authorized dealer. This is a brand name procurement only, as the equipment currently utilized and supported in Phoenix Area IHS is A-dec, Inc dental equipment. All requested equipment is the same brand and quality found in other Phoenix Area IHS service units in order to keep all dental operatories universal. Procurement of the A-dec equipment and accessories aids the local Biomedical Engineering department’s ability to fulfill maintenance requirements and reduces the clinician burden of new training requirements.
