About this file

This Statement of Work (SOW) details technical support requirements for the CGC MARIA BRAY's Dynamic Positioning System (DPS) from Nacos Marine. The DPS for the Coast Guard cutter (which supports WLB-225 and WLM-175 assets) is currently non-functional, preventing safe navigation and operational missions. The objective is to have a Nacos Marine technician travel to the cutter's homeport at 4200 Ocean St, Atlantic Beach, FL 32233 to diagnose and restore the system's functionality.

The DPS is critical for holding station during navigation aid work and performing autopilot functions, utilizing multiple navigation sensor inputs to adjust shaft speed and bow/stern thrusters. The technician will observe current DPS operation and implement necessary software or hardware changes to return the system to satisfactory (SAT) operation. Contact for questions regarding this SOW is CWO Trevor Bannerman at 781-443-4695. The SOW is associated with PR #52000PR260002240 and was last updated on 12/29/2025.
