1.0 SCOPE: The scope of the project outlines the procurement of VME Terminal Controller CPU components required to upgrade the TC to support an operating system upgrade to Windows 11. This includes CPUs, cables and necessary mounting hardware.
1.1 TITLE: VME Terminal Controller CPU and associated Hardware Procurement
1.2 APPLICABILITY: The Link 16 Terminal controller needs to be upgraded to accommodate an operating system upgraded to Windows 11.The TC current hardware is incompatible with Windows 11. Upgrading the VME TC CPU and associated hardware is essential to enable the operating system upgrade and ensure continued functionality.
1.3 BACKGROUND: Redesign and Production Development of the Link16 – VME Terminal Controller (TC) CPU to accommodate an operating system upgrade to Windows 11. The Link 16 Terminal controller is a specific hardware unit that manages and transmits data through the Link 16 Network
1.4 PURPOSE: The purpose of this task is to procure VME Terminal Controller CPUs and associated hardware required for the VME TC CPU Upgrade.

3.0 REQUIREMENTS: The contractor shall procure the following Part Numbers VP B76/421-24E-020, AD150/001-15E, AD 110/001-71E, and CB 60D/124-00 also noted in section 3.3.
3.1 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: The contractor shall procure the following Part Numbers VP B76/421-24E- 020, AD150/001-15E, AD 110/001-71E, and CB 60D/124-00 also noted in section 3.3.
3.2 PROGRAM MANAGEMENT: The contractor shall provide status updates on shipment schedules, delivery timelines, and order fulfillment. The contractor will notify DMEA immediately of any delays, shortages, or price increases and ensure timely communication and resolution of any procurement challenges throughout the period of performance of this contract.
3.3 TASK REQUIREMENTS: The procurement task involves acquiring a VME SBC w/6-core Intel Xeon Processor E-217M, M.2 Flash Module Kit with 1x 1TB M.2 device, Mounting kit for 2.5” SATA Disk Drive and a Front panel breakout cable. The contractor shall provide the following Part Numbers VP B76/421-24E-020, AD150/001-15E, AD 110/001-71E, and CB 60D/124-00 also noted in the table below.

3.3.2. OPTION1: The contractor will supply an additional 1 - 25 units of all part numbers mentioned above in 3.3.

4.0 DATA ITEMS: None.
4.1: The contractor shall verify that only genuine hardware and no third party or counterfeit substitutions shall be provided. A written guarantee and corresponding paperwork shall be provided to DMEA at contract award. The contractor shall provide full-service support, upgrades, replacement guarantees, and full warranty.
4.2: The contractor will provide a procurement status report at the start of the contract and regular updates thereafter which include shipping updates, total units shipped, tracking details and any changes to the delivery schedule.
