Current Status There is no main disconnect switch; the system uses two 50A fuses. The distribution panel is a General Electric model; it lacks a ground busbar, the chassis is not grounded, neutral wires do not follow the standard color code, there are no GFCIs in the residence, and ungrounded "pancake-style" light fixtures are still in use. The laundry room distribution panel is a General Electric model; the breaker mounting busbars are sulfated/weather-damaged, and the breakers are in poor condition.

Service room: 2 Laundry room: 1 Terrace: 4 (outdoor-rated) Backyard: 2 (outdoor-rated)

General General Replace "chalupa-base" (standard junction box-mounted) fixtures with fixtures that can be properly grounded:

Laundry room: 1 (indoor) Service bathroom: 2 (indoor) 3rd-level terraces: 4 (outdoor) Backyard: 2 (outdoor) Replace garden fixtures with moisture-resistant (IP65 or similar) fixtures: 2 Kitchen: Remove the lights located above the cabinets; insulate the wires and install a blank cover plate.

Split the kitchen wiring into two separate circuits to prevent overloading.

Meter The meter base could not be removed. The owner is requested to verify the gauge of the CFE (utility) supply cable.

Ground the meter using a grounding rod.

Main Disconnect (Main breaker) Upgrade the supply cable from 4 AWG to 2 AWG copper.

Install a 100A fused main disconnect switch (thermal-magnetic type) in a weatherproof molded case.
