Sources Sought The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is seeking to identify respondents capable of developing, implementing, and evaluating intervention studies to improve identification of latent tuberculosis infection (LTBI) and treatment-to-cure for high-risk non-U.S.-born populations in primary care settings. Information regarding these services can be found in the attached Draft SOW.
Your responses will assist the Government in the development of its acquisition strategy for a possible Request for Proposal (RFP) to be issued at a later date, and in determining whether any type of small business set-aside is possible for this procurement or whether full and open competitive procedures should be utilized.
The CDC is conducting this Sources Sought to identify repondents who possess the capabilities to provide services as specified in the objectives above and to determine their availability and capability. If you are interested in this requirement and have performed similar projects, please submit your response in accordance with the submission instructions below.
Submission Instructions:
Respondents who believe they have the ability to satisfy all of the tasks outlined in the attached draft SOW are encouraged to submit a capability statement. Responses are due via email on or before March 4, 2021 at 2 p.m., Eastern Time, to Martin F. Nemec, email address: oga2@cdc.gov and must include the information requested below. Only emailed responses will be accepted. Responses greater than 10 double-sided pages will not be considered. If you have any questions concerning this sources sought notice, please send your questions in writing via email. The Government will not respond to oral questions.
Capability statements must be complete and sufficiently detailed to address the specific information. The documentation shall address, at a minimum, the following:
A. Company Profile to include:
1. Company name and address;
2. Two points of contact (names, titles, phone numbers and email addresses);
3. DUNS number and CAGE Code, as registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at http://www.betaSam.gov/:
4. Business designation/status (must correlate with SAM registration):

B. Documentation, in detail, of the company’s capability:
a. Staff expertise, including availability and experience;
b. Completed projects in the last 5 years of similar scope; and
c. Specific types/examples of primary care settings to which you have access and in which you would be able to carry out development, implementation, and evaluation of intervention studies to improve LTBI screening, testing, and treatment of high-risk, non-U.S. born populations
This notice shall not be construed as an RFP or as any commitment or obligation on the part of the Government to issue a solicitation. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this request, so proposals will not be considered. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow-up information requests. The Government reserves the right to use information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate. Any organization responding to this notice should ensure that its response is complete and sufficiently detailed to allow the Government to determine the organization's qualifications and capabilities to perform the work. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. After a review of the responses received, a pre-solicitation synopsis and solicitation may be published in beta.SAM.gov Contract Opportunities. However, responses to this notice will not be considered adequate responses to a solicitation.
Confidentiality – No proprietary, classified, confidential, or sensitive information should be included in the response. The Government reserves the right to use any non-proprietary technical information in any resultant solicitation(s).
This is strictly market research and the Government will not entertain any questions.
