About this file
This document is a Sources Sought notice from the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) for the GE T408 Engine Platform Parts Support. DLA intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, General Electric (GE), under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as GE is the only known source that possesses the required knowledge, technical expertise, special skills, technical data rights, facilities, and experience to provide holistic spare parts support for the T408 engine platform.
DLA is seeking capability statements from interested and responsible sources, including large businesses, to determine if a set-aside is appropriate. Responses should include documentation demonstrating the company's financial resources, integrity, experience, accounting and operational controls, technical skills, and facilities. DLA may change the initial acquisition strategy based on the information received. The intent is to award a sole source, long-term contract to GE for the addition of approximately 522 new items (492 NSNs and 30 part numbered items) designated for the T408 engine, to be added to GE's existing Long Term Contract (LTC) SPE4AX-21-D-9413. Responses are due by March 4, 2024.
