SOURCES SOUGHT: PRICE ROAD RECONSTRUCTION
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has a requirement for Price Road Reconstruction. This project is located at Natrona County, Wyoming (Zip Code 82604) at approximately the following coordinates 42°38'27.6"N 106°37'43.4"W. The site is approximately 18 miles southwest of Casper along Highway 220, then leading to Trappers Route Road and Price Road.
This project consist of Furnishing labor, equipment, supplies, and materials for reconstruction of
1.92 miles of recreational road. Work includes, but is not limited to the following:
1. Roadway corridor clearing and grubbing
2. Earthwork and grading to construct road bed
3. Installation of separation/stabilization geotextile over prepared road subgrade
4. New crushed aggregate base course for road surfacing
5. Five new drainage culverts
6. New roadway signage
7. Two new cattle guards
8. Barb wire fence and gate connections
9. Erosion and sediment control and rehabilitation of old road bed
10. Seeding and mulching all areas disturbed under this contract and as identified on the plans
The estimated magnitude of construction is $750,000 - $1,500,000.
This Sources Sought is intended as a means of conducting market research, which will help determine the best method for the anticipated solicitation and subsequent award. The applicable
North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this requirement is
237310, Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction. The small business size standard is $39.5 million. FAR 52.219-4, Limitations on Subcontracting, will apply wherein at least 15 percent of the work must be performed by the small business prime contractor and similarly situated small business subcontractors.
