About this file
This document is a Sources Sought notice from the Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Test Center (Air Force Test Center) regarding market research for the Holloman High-Speed Test Track (HHSTT) Water Trough Braking for Sled Track Testing Test Capability Expansion Study.
The study will investigate the interactions between liquid water in the water trough and the moving sled structure during the dynamic sled braking process at the HHSTT in New Mexico. Vendors interested in the potential future contract are requested to review the forthcoming Statement of Work (SOW) and provide information on their technical capability, estimated completion time, and estimated price to execute the study. Responses are due by November 11, 24 at 10:00 AM CST. Based on the responses, the government will determine the most appropriate acquisition approach, which could include a small business set-aside, full and open competition, or an Other Transaction Authority (OTA) for a prototype project. Qualified vendors will be provided the SOW via the DoD Safe system after submitting their CAGE Code and DD Form 2345.
