PROGRAM BACKGROUND
Refresh of the 10 systems [eight (8) Mobile Marksmanship Training Simulators (MMTS) and two (2) Warrior Skills Trainers (WST)] will include installation of new projectors and computers, repair of existing hardware, and labor. The 5-year extended warranty for the systems will cover the repair and replacement of any product that is defective in material or workmanship by the vendor. The weapons simulators that constitute the USAR Preliminary Live-Fire Simulations (PLFS) portfolio include the MMTS and the WST; these systems are non-Program of Record and were purchased utilizing NGREA funding. PLFS are a requirement to execute Table II of the Integrated Weapons Training Strategy (TC 3-20.0).
