About this file

This is a Sources Sought Synopsis (market research document) issued by the U.S. Air Force seeking potential contractors for NAFI Connectors procurement. The requirement is classified under NAICS Code 334111 with a size standard of 1,250 employees. The market research is being conducted to identify sources capable of supplying NAFI Connectors in accordance with an attached Equipment List. No security clearance is required for this procurement; however, foreign participation is prohibited and all contractor personnel performing work at the USAF facility must be U.S. citizens. The government will not reimburse participants for survey participation expenses, and responding to this market research does not guarantee participation in any future solicitation or contract award.

Responses to the Contractor Capability Survey must be submitted via email to either Guillermo Rendón (primary contact) or Jeffrey Kane (alternate contact) at their respective USAF email addresses, with a deadline of September 1, 2026. The survey requests detailed business information including company name, CAGE/DUNS, SAM registration status, and certification status (small business, woman-owned, 8(a), HUBZone, veteran-owned, or service-disabled veteran-owned). Respondents must answer capability questions addressing facility capabilities and staffing, key personnel qualifications, quality assurance processes, on-time completion rates, project capacity, and proposed process timelines. Additionally, commerciality questions require documentation of established catalog or market prices, workforce utilization for government versus commercial customers, standard warranty and return processes, and any differences in terms and conditions. Both large and small businesses are encouraged to participate, and joint ventures or teaming arrangements are permissible.
