About this file

This is a Sources Sought Notice issued by the Fort Riley Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Office seeking potential vendors to provide Kardex Remstar Vertical Lift Module Storage System repair components, software, and installation services. The government is specifically seeking to determine if two or more qualified small businesses can provide these services to support a small business set-aside, as the requirement was previously awarded on a sole source basis.

The requirement falls under NAICS code 337215 with a size standard of 500 employees and PSC 7125. Specific items needed include Nord Part #10001231, Extractor Wheels #10009135, and Nord Update Kit with CPU #s 10070613 & 10001395. The government notes a potential impediment to competition as Kardex Holding AG is the manufacturer with only one known distributor/authorized technical repair agent. This is anticipated to be a Firm Fixed Price contract with delivery due by February 25, 2025. Interested vendors must submit capability statements electronically to Contract Specialist Joshua Williamson, demonstrating their ability to provide the required supplies and installation services, along with their organizational information and SAM.gov registration details.
