About this file
This is a Sources Sought Notice issued by the Air Force Installation Contracting Center on behalf of the 772nd Enterprise Sourcing Squadron for market research purposes. The Air Force seeks to identify qualified vendors for a potential five-year contract supporting the Air Force Civil Engineer Center's Rapid Airfield Damage Repair program, which requires depot-level maintenance, training, and spare parts for the FLIR R80 Skyraider small unmanned aircraft systems (sUAS).
The requirement encompasses three primary components: (1) depot-level maintenance returning approximately 125 R80 Skyraiders with associated payloads, ground control units, tethers, and sensors to factory specifications over five years, including extended factory warranty coverage; (2) online training licenses through the FLIR portal, estimated at five instructor and 125 student pilot licenses annually for five years; and (3) initial spare parts including aircraft bodies, antennas, propellers, batteries, charging equipment, communication components, and sensors. Interested vendors must submit capability statements addressing relevant experience with R80 Skyraider depot maintenance and training, spare parts authorization from the original equipment manufacturer (OEM), sUAS sales authorization, DoD cybersecurity compliance (STIGs and Risk Management Framework), current or planned Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) status for handling Controlled Unclassified Information, compliance with drone-related acquisition regulations, and subcontracting strategy. Responses must be submitted by September 17, 2026, to Nathan Pennington at nathan.pennington.3@us.af.mil and limited to five pages single-spaced. The NAICS code is 488190 with a $40 million small business size standard. This notice does not constitute a formal solicitation or commitment by the Government, and no evaluation results will be provided to respondents.
