About this file
This is a Sources Sought notice and market research questionnaire for industrial maintenance services, likely for a federal facility involving historical buildings and antiquated equipment, with a primary NAICS code of 561210 (janitorial services).
The notice requests detailed information from potential contractors regarding their capability to perform the work as a prime contractor or through teaming arrangements, including the estimated percentage of work they would self-perform. Respondents must identify their socio-economic status across multiple small business categories, including 8(a), HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Women-Owned, and other certifications. Key inquiry areas include: whether the proposed scope aligns with standard commercial practices and recommendations for re-packaging services; preference for contract structure (Single Award Task Order Contract, Multiple Award Task Order Contract, or standard service contract with option years); experience with historical buildings and antiquated equipment; and capability to perform additional industrial maintenance work beyond listed requirements. Contractors must provide a company capability statement addressing mobilization ability, subcontracting strategy, scheduling, supervision, supply, and execution capacity, with identification of self-performed work percentages, plus price lists and available equipment. Past project examples submitted should not exceed five projects of similar size and scope, completed or substantially completed within the last ten years.
