The Federal Bureau of Prisons is conducting market research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation, Part 10. A single solicitation will be issued for Replace Switchgear. The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP), Federal Correctional Complex (FCC Forrest City) located at 1301 Dale Bumpers, Forrest City, AR 72335, intends to make a single award to a responsible entity that will provide all necessary equipment, labor, materials, and incidentals to replace switchgear. The contractor is responsible replace the existing 15KV switchgear assembly with a new 15KV switchgear assembly. It is the contractor’s responsibility to obtain permitting, should it be required. All manufacturer’s recommendations will be required to be implemented.
This sources sought questionnaire is for information purposes only. The described requirement may or may not be included in the subsequent solicitation.
A summary of the requirements is as follows: The contractor will remove existing 15KV switchgear and install a new 15KV switchgear assembly in its place.

Hard copies of the solicitation are not available. The website provides download instructions to obtain all documents relating to the solicitation. All future information concerning this acquisition, including the pre-solicitation notices, solicitation, and any subsequent amendments, will be distributed solely through the website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the website to ensure they have the most current information about the acquisition.
2. Any contractor interested in obtaining a contract award with the Federal Bureau of Prisons must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov.
