THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation or request for quotes and no contract will be awarded from this notice. There is no solicitation, specifications or drawings available at this time, except as noted below.

Military Sealift Command Norfolk has a requirement for the USNS MERCY (T-AH 19) for a Mid-Term Availability (MTA), on/about January 16, 2023 for 90 days. The place of performance will be at a Contractor’s facility located on the West Coast.

While the finalized list of work items is still under development, a draft list is separately attached to this notice and a list of the noteworthy work is as follows:

1) General Services for Ship

2) TAH_CCSI_ABS INTERMEDIATE SURVEY - TANK INSPECTION (5 YR)

3) PRESERVATION SERVICE AREAS 5 AND 6 (NACE REPORT)

4) NON-SKID PRESERVATION VARIOUS AREAS (NACE REPORT)

5) Main Feed Pump No 1 and 2 Repair Balanced Gov (VR22-0030, -0045)

6) BALLAST TANK PIPING RENEWAL (VR21-0009)

7) LPAC NO 1 AND 2 REPLACEMENT (VR20-0025)

8) ANCHOR WINDLASS HYDRAULIC SYSTEM REPAIRS (VR20-0005)

9) AC INSTALL MODS, PHARMACY STORE ROOM AND X-RAY COMPUTER ROOM (TALT 19-019)

10) MTF O2N2 LPAC NO. 1 OVERHAUL

Please provide a response demonstrating your firm’s experience in performing similar work. This procurement will be solicited under NAICS Code 336611, Ship Building and Repair, which has a size standard of 1,250 employees. Indicate if your company is a large or small business, and if a small business, indicate if you fall within any of the further classifications (HUBZone, SDVOSB, WOSB, etc.)
