THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation or request for quotes and no contract will be awarded from this notice. There is no solicitation, specifications or drawings available at this time, except as noted below.

Military Sealift Command Norfolk has a requirement for the USNS GRASP (T-ARS-51) for a Mid-Term Availability (MTA), on/about January 23, 2022 for 61 days. The place of performance will be at a Contractor’s facility located in Hawaii, Alaska, or the West Coast.

While the finalized list of work items is still under development, a draft list is separately attached to this notice and a list of the noteworthy work is as follows:

1) General Services for Ship

2) 01.5 to 04 Level Deck Preservation

3) Automation and Propulsion Control System Repair

4) Main Propulsion Line Shaft Bearing Replacement

5) T-ALT ECDIS and Radar Renewal

6) AFFF Tank Fill Piping Renewals

7) Diver Davit Cooling System Modifications

8) Reduction Gear and Clutch Inspections

9) Forepeak Tank Steel Renewal

10) Lower Salvage Stores Passageway Bilge Preservation

Please provide a response demonstrating your firm’s experience in performing similar work. This procurement will be solicited under NAICS Code 336611, Ship Building and Repair, which has a size standard of 1,250 employees. Indicate if your company is a large or small business, and if a small business, indicate if you fall within any of the further classifications (HUBZone, SDVOSB, WOSB, etc.)
