The Government seeks to identify qualified small business vendors who can meet the Government’s needs in terms of fair market prices, quality, and delivery of services for existing equipment. 2.0 Background and Government Needs:
This notice includes Brand Name Requirements. The brand name for the existing Government generators is “Cat® C32 100 kW (60 Hz) Diesel Generators.” The Government requires: 1) yearly preventive maintenance services; and, 2) repairs, as needed, to maintain the four (4) Cat® C32 100 kW (60 Hz) Diesel Generators in accordance with the Original Equipment Manufacturer’s (OEM) specifications. Therefore, a year of MAJOR preventive maintenance services is provided, followed by a year of MINOR preventive maintenance services. The four (4) Cat® C32 100 kW (60 Hz) Diesel Generators must be maintained in accordance with the OEM’s specifications, by OEM certified personnel using OEM parts and materials.
