THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTES; the Government is seeking information for market research purposes only.

1. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Texas Valley Coastal Bend Health Care System (VATVCBHCS) has a requirement for Software Support for the LYNX Server Model #LYNXS-R5-UP. They seek annual Software Support Agreement to manage, maintain and/or troubleshoot anomalies with the LYNX Duress System.

The LYNX system is an efficient communication tool for emergency responders, providing clear and straightforward instructions to anyone situated at or near a network workstation. Having the necessary support agreement ensures software updates to address any patient safety gaps and enhances our ability to identify and rectify unexpected incidents.

Scope:

Services to be Provided:

Software Support for the LYNX Serve Model #LYNXS-R5-UP to include:

Remote application support with the approval of Office of Information and Technology (OI&T) staff during the contractor’s normal telephone support hours Monday – Friday 8:00AM to 4:30PM.

Software Releases, Maintenance and Service Pack Releases - Remote labor included.

Access to the Lynx Technical Support Team Telephone Support, Emergency Hours Online Training with MS Teams

2. Contract Award: The Government contemplates award of a Firm Fixed-Price contract resulting from this solicitation. Contract period will be:

• Base Year Period: January 1, 2025, thru to December 31, 2025

• Option Year 1: January 1, 2026, thru to December 31, 2026

• Option Year 2: January 1, 2027, thru to December 31, 2027

• Option Year 3: January 1, 2028, thru to December 31, 2028

• Option Year 4: January 1, 2029, thru to December 31, 2029

3. Place of Performance:

The contractor shall provide remote support to all applicable sites utilizing the LYNX software.

Responses to this notice shall include company/individual name, size status for the above reference NAICS code, a service capability statement, SAM Entity Unique Identifier (EUI), DUNS Number, address, point of contact, and examples of similar facilities to which similar services have been provided to. Contractors should provide information on whether they are certified SDVOSB, VOSB, Hub zone, 8(a), women-owned concern. If standard company brochures are supplied as a response to this Source Sought, ensure that additional information tailored to this notice is included.

A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced on the Contract Opportunities website https://sam.gov later, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the response to this announcement. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM); see the website https://www.sam.gov for registration information.
