About this file
This is a Sources Sought Notice from the Department of Commerce's Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA). The notice is for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation, Request for Quote, or binding commitment. BEA seeks information from private data providers regarding datasets that could improve the measurement of economic activity across states and counties, with particular interest in data useful for estimating investment in prepackaged and custom software, investment in equipment, and the geographic flow of e-commerce activity. These datasets would support BEA's regional accounts, including Gross Domestic Product by state and county, input-output frameworks, business investment, and related economic indicators as detailed in the attached Statement of Work.
Responses should be submitted via email to the designated points of contact (Blen Gabriel at BGabriel@doc.gov or Jacqueline Brown at JBrown4@doc.gov) with the subject line "Sources Sought – [Agency Name] – [Your Company Name]." Submissions must include a Capability Statement per template and any supporting documents. The applicable NAICS code is 519290 (Web Search Portals and All Other Information Services). The Government will not pay for or reimburse costs associated with responding and reserves the right to revise requirements before releasing any subsequent solicitation. No response deadline or award date is specified in this notice, as it is intended solely to gather market information for acquisition planning purposes.
