SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS

Marine Corps Logistics Command (MARCORLOGCOM) Contracts Department in Albany, GA is issuing this Sources Sought Synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to provide preventative maintenance (PM) services for seven (7) Vertical Lift Modules (detailed below). The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 81121 - Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance.

THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for quotes; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred.

If your organization has the potential capacity to perform these contract services, please provide the following information:

BASED ON THE RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE, THIS REQUIREMENT MAY

BE SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS OR PROCURED THROUGH FULL AND OPEN

COMPETITION, and multiple awards MAY be made. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding their submissions.

Vertical Lift Modules (VLM’s)

The following information is provided pertaining to the services sought.

Basic Description: The Government is seeking to purchase Service for (7) Vertical Lift Modules (VLM’s) that abide by the below specifications:

Provide services for the following (7) Vertical Lift Modules (VLM’s):

VLM01- S/N: MLD163046US

VLM02- S/N: MLD163047US

VLM03- S/N: MLD163048US

VLM04- S/N: MLD163049US

VLM05- S/N: MLD163050US

VLM06- S/N: MLD204161AUS

VLM07- S/N: MLD204160AUS

Provide Level 1 PM which includes lubrication, inspection, adjustment and tuning of equipment. This service is to be performed on a 365-day cycle, meaning it occurs annually.

1. Lubrication: Applying lubricants to moving parts to reduce friction and wear.

2. Inspection: Visual checks of equipment condition and performance.

3. Adjustment: Making minor tweaks to insure optimal equipment operation.

4. Tuning: Fine-tuning equipment settings for peak performance.

Must provide TSA (Telephone Support Agreement) Level C: 12 months, 8 hours per day, 5 days per week. (Excluding holidays) for automated storage systems.

Spare parts kit to keep on hand incase of equipment failure: 1 LVL 2 KIT MODU 1M002958
