About this file
This Sources Sought Notice seeks capabilities statements for the upgrade of an airborne topographic-bathymetric lidar system. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration on behalf of the National Ocean Service and National Geodetic Survey seeks to upgrade the Riegl VQ-880-G and Riegl LMS-Q680i lidar systems to a modern two-channel system. The upgrade is required to include a narrow field of view shallow bathymetric lidar, topographic lidar with an 80MP or greater mid-format camera collecting RGB and CIR images, and the ability to add an additional wide field of view deep channel lidar on an as-needed basis. All associated control units, displays, and peripherals are also required. Interested firms must submit a ten page or less statement of capabilities by March 26th, 2020 to Virginia Grimes at the provided email address detailing experience meeting the product specifications and providing contact information. The NAICS code for this requirement is 333316 for Photographic and Photocopying Equipment Manufacturing.
